Art Lead

Saltsea Chronicles is a truly unique interactive experience, in which the player takes control of a crew of seafarers navigating a flooded world.

As Art Lead, I led a team of 5 artists, collaborating with the amazing Nils Deneken, the art director at Die Gute Fabrik. Together we created over 130 unique, individually animated characters and 16 beautifully crafted islands to discover. The 2D art was all made in the vector based SVG format, and was designed to blend seamlessly with the 3D assets to create a cohesive storybook style.

It was made in Unity and published for Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam on October 12th, 2023.

Pool Panic is a game co-created with Mike Robinson of Rekim Ltd, published by Adult Swim Games.

I took the idea from initial concept to shipped product, creating and directing the art, animation and promotional content.
The game released in July 2018 for Steam and Nintendo Switch.

All of the art was created in Adobe Animate. The game was developed in the Unity game engine.

Hohokum is a whimsical, playful colourful world that released in 2014 for Sony platforms. It was a collaboration between developer Honeyslug and Artist Richard Hogg.

I was fortunate enough to work on this for 2 years providing animation for characters and environmental features.

The game was nominated for a BAFTA for Artistic Achievement.

On 28th July 2022, the game was released for Steam, published by Annapurna Interactive.

 2D Animation

I am Dead is a beautiful hidden object game where you play as a ghost with X Ray vision!

The game was made by Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg. I got to work on it over the course of 18 months, providing 2D animation for the ghosts and other elements.

The game released in October 2020 for PC and Consoles.

2D Animation

Over The Alps is an interactive WWII spy thriller that released in October 2019 as part of the launch of Apple Arcade. I worked as Lead Animator, helping Stave Studios to bring their art style to life with subtle animation that stays true to the 1930s travel poster style. Most of the animation was made using the Unity engine’s in-built tools, with some frame-by-frame work done in Adobe Animate.
