SALTSEA CHRONICLES
Art Lead
Saltsea Chronicles is a truly unique interactive experience, in which the player takes control of a crew of seafarers navigating a flooded world.
As Art Lead, I led a team of 5 artists, collaborating with the amazing Nils Deneken, the art director at Die Gute Fabrik. Together we created over 130 unique, individually animated characters and 16 beautifully crafted islands to discover. The 2D art was all made in the vector based SVG format, and was designed to blend seamlessly with the 3D assets to create a cohesive storybook style.
It was made in Unity and published for Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam on October 12th, 2023.
